Hi, I am Chris.

Chris Strouth is a Minneapolis-based composer, producer, filmmaker, and writer whose work has changed the shape of the arts scene for four decades.

His work has taken him to the uttermost depths of experimental music to college rock hits, and holiday standards, and many many other places. In the six degrees of separation between John Cage and Judas Priest he is number three, he can do that a lot, but that one might be the funnest.

Kid Koala describes his music as “the perfectly focused space between tranquility and chaos” — cinematic, immersive, and stubbornly resistant to genre, he builds spectacle and wonder in whatever he is working on.

Oh and he was the first person on the planet to get an organ for transplant via social media, and that’s pretty darn nifty.
